Three different queries that add to the story of fires and schools:
In California over the past 30 days, searches for "fire" and "school" have increased. There appears to be a mild correlation between the search words "fire" and "school", especially at the peak at around September 24 and 25th and towards the end of the 30 days at around October 8 and 9th.
In California over the past 7 days or week, searches for "fire" and "school" appears to have decreased as the Northern fires have become more contained. There also appears to be a strong correlation between both searches because when the search term "fire" is increased, the search term "school" increases as well.
In California over the past day on October 18, the correlation between the trends of "fire" and "school" appear to correlate strongly together. This is because as the search for "school" decreases, the search for "fire" decreases as well and vice versa. One explanation for this correlation is because of the fluctuating air quality from the fires in Northern California.
